New episodes of Alan Gilbert and Mikhail Paweletz’s international “about music” podcast are releasing on the NDR website and YouTube channel. The pair began this podcast over a year ago to discuss their shared passion for music. Gilbert, the Principal Conductor of the NDR Elbphilhrmonie, and Paweletz, a journalist and news presenter come together to tackle burning questions and thought-provoking topics in the world of classical music. This season includes conversations about what life is like for orchestra musicians, how they manage stressful careers and a competitive environment, and what Alan Gilbert’s experience has been as a premiere conductor.
